Hello all, I have a very important test coming up in math soon and I would greatly appreciate if any of you can help me solve some problems in linear algebra + book + download + free. I am ok in math otherwise but problems in y-intercept baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be great if you can let me know of a reasonably priced math help tool that I can use?

You really shouldn’t have wasted money on a math tutor. Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . Now to make sure that you do well in your exams I would suggest trying Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the toughest problems for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how it did so! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding roots, side-side-side similarity and factoring polynomials. But thanks to Algebrator, it’s all good now .

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a reference and a means to learn and never to cheat.

I remember having difficulties with leading coefficient, inequalities and inequalities. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
