Hello Math experts ! I am a beginner at finding the least common denominator by adding and subtracting fractional expressions. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I start to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any website where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

I have a solution for you and it might just prove to be a better one than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a rather elaborate list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on finding the least common denominator by adding and subtracting fractional expressions and I really enjoyed using it.

That's true, a good program can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the greatest. It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in College Algebra and Algebra 1 too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never used a software before I can tell you it's not hard , you don't have to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

That sounds awesome ! I am not well versed with computers. If this software is easy to use then I would love to try it once. Can you please give me the link?
