I've always wanted to excel in vertex form, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some useful learning tools , and consulted the local library for some books, but all the data seems to be targeted at people who already understand the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

You’re not alone. As a matter of fact , I had the same problem just before I found something very helpful . Have you encountered Algebrator? If you have not heard anything about this great piece of software yet, let me give you an idea about this software. This is a software that helps you to answer algebra problems and at the same time you could learn from it because it displays a detailed procedure of solving the problem. It really helped me in my problems in algebra and my grade significantly improved since I tried this. Be reminded that it does not only show the answer but it helps you learn how to solve the problem that makes it very educational.

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us math students. As already said in the post above , not only does it solve questions but it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that eventual result. That way apart from knowing the final answer, we also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in working on assignments.

A truly piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving function range, linear inequalities and side-angle-side similarity. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I highly recommend the program.
