Algebrator is very useful, but please never use it for copy pasting solutions. Use it as a guide to understand and clear your concepts only.

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds awesome. I needed something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can actually explain me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can learn it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the program ?

You can buy it from https://mathfraction.com/reducing-fractions-and-improper-fractions.html. There are several features available at the site. You can look around and see if it suits your need.

A great piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving complex fractions, proportions and rational equations. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
