I'm just thinking if someone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the basics of crossword puzzles balancing equations for kids. I find solving equations really difficult. I work in the evening and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online resource that can help me with this subject?

You seem to be stuck on that I had last week. I too thought of getting a paid tutor to work it out for me. But they are so pricy that I just could not afford one. So I turned to the internet and found so many programs that can help with algebra assignments on adding matrices, graphing inequalities or function domain. After some trials I found that Algebrator is the best of the lot. I haven’t found a math assignment that I can’t get done through Algebrator. It is absolutely amazing. Best part is, the software gives you a detailed break-up on how to do it yourself. So you actually learn how to work it out yourself. Isn’t it cool?

Algebrator really is a great piece of algebra software. I remember having difficulties with binomials, leading coefficient and angle suplements. By typing in the problem from workbook and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the algebra problem. It has been of great help through several Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I seriously recommend the program.

It’s amazing that a program can perform that. I didn’t expect something like that could really help in math . I’m used to be taught by a tutor but this really sounds promising . Do you have any links for this software ?

I remember having problems with leading coefficient, subtracting fractions and percentages. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
