finding the slope of an equation

I am in desperate need of help in completing a project in finding the slope of an equation. I need to submit it by next week and am having a tough time trying to figure out a few tricky problems. I tried some of the internet help sites but have not gotten much help so far. I would be really grateful if anyone can help me.

Your story sounds familiar to me. Although I was good in math for many years, when I began College Algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed very hard . I remember I got a very low mark when I took the exam on finding the slope of an equation. Now I don't have this issue anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even interval notation and rational equations.
